Last week Engineering Design Center took part in IV International Intelligent Development Forum in Uniejów. This year’s motto was “We’re playing for the future – get in the game!”. And EDC, for almost 20 years now, is definitely in the game.

November 28th-29th people visiting IV International Intelligent Development Forum were not only able to learn more about Engineering Design Centers achievements and unique lab infrastructure at our stand. They also had an occasion to listen to GE Engineering Design Center Managing Director Marian Lubieniecki. EDC CEO spoke about the role of people and specialistic knowledge as a base component of a modern business and took part in a debate “A game for the future, i.e. visionaries, inventors, scientists, businessmen together or separately?”.

– As every year Uniejów Forum was a great opportunity for our engineering community to get a wider view of all innovative technologies that are being patented and produced in Poland. It is a fantastic place to talk about areas of potential cooperation. What really made an impression on me this year was a presentation from one of the universities about algorithms in materials development and “shooting” cancer cells with protons – said Artur Rudnik, EDC Director.

The highlight of the Forum was an award ceremony. This year, after three consecutive years as an award recipient, Marian Lubieniecki presented awards to the most innovative companies in 2019.

International Intelligent Development Forum is all about cooperation between business, science and local government. Year after year it encourages constructive dialogue among this communities. Debates give everybody a good chance to set direction for the future. It’s also a perfect space to show off best polish inventions – we’ve seen among others, Elimen Racing, a revolutionary electric rally vehicle.

Two days in Uniejów for us were definitely well spent.
