In February 2020 EDC had an honor of conducting, for the first time ever, a Transactional Lean Academy training. During four-day training we facilitated both Lean training and practice workouts during which we focused on two major topics – fleet status for contract management purposes and R&D process in our European Turbine Airfoil Center Laboratory.
More than 30 people took part in the Academy including 9 of our colleagues from US HQ, Wales and Dubai. This is a major milestone for our site in building Lean culture – continuous improvement of our processes by growing lean awareness and expertise. With this training EDC made the first step to lead Lean Academy on our premises in the future.
