On Saturday, August 2nd, a group of EDC employees and their friends went to Zielonka shelter for homeless animals. The event was organized jointly by GE Volunteers and HealthAhead teams.
In Zielonka our engineers helped with many issues. Broken and destroyed kennels, as well as the warming, were fixed while the social building and the place for dogs quarantine got a touch of renovation works.
This was not the first time our employees had decided to take care of homeless animals. Last year we were also in Korabiewice shelter. After heavy rains the team assisted in current works, cleaned the dogs’ training area and worked on the hydration system.
We can’t wait for more volunteering actions!
