On Saturday, May, 25th , EDC hosted around 50 children to celebrate upcoming Children’s Day.
The school children from an organization that helps overcome learning and preschoolers from the neighborhood could see how work in EDC looks like and how much fun it is to work in our center.
We opened EDC labs and the wind tunnel for them. To encourage kids to become an engineer we organized also the lesson in training room to tell them about engine constructions and showed them huge GE engines. Our young guests tried also the hovercraft ride, watched movie in Oil&Gas lab and at the end everybody could make a picture in pilot’s seat. In the meantime children created their own aircraft’s models and organized spontaneous the airplane competition. We hope they enjoyed the visit in EDC and in a few years will come back to us as designers fascinated by engineering work.
