Last Saturday, February 15th, EDC employees: Dorota, Piotr, Marcin, Łukasz, Marek and Monika helped the Young Explorers Club. The Tutors performed hands-on experiments for over 10 kids. The children and the volunteers had the opportunity to find out what taste buds are and how to detect the particular ones on a tongue. They made their own lemonade, obtained carbon dioxide by mixing vinegar with baking soda, which was further used for building a simple fire extinguisher. Our young explorers also found out how to write letters using invisible ink (and recover text in order to read it) and had big fun in making a non-Newtonian liquid.
