On Friday September 23rd EDC hosted a session of the Innovation Advisory Council of the Capital City of Warsaw. The council is an advisory body at the President of the Capital City of Warsaw gathering representatives of government institutions, universities and private companies who work together to ensure that Warsaw supports innovation on various level as a city.
The session started with a presentation of the cooperation between GECP and Institute of Aviation given by EDC Site Leader Marian Lubieniecki and Director of the Institute Witold Wiśniowski. The presentation highlighted the numerous examples of innovation both within the engineering work and in the ways collaboration between the partners forming EDC is shaped. In the second part of the meeting the participants talked through the City Development Strategy “Warsaw 2030” proposal put together by the Warsaw City Council. Afterwards the guests had a chance to tour the site, visit laboratories and talk to technical experts.
